Wide hammocks, meadows, hedgerows, dikes and the Filsum raised moor characterize the landscape. There are nice cycling opportunities following the well-signposted junction system. You cross the rivers on a crank ferry or with the “Pünte” – the oldest hand-operated ferry in Northern Europe. An exciting crossing over the Leda offers Germany's narrowest car bridge in Amdorf.
With a total of 22 standing and flowing bodies of water, there are ideal conditions for fishing and canoeing. The Jümmesee leisure complex with a campsite, adventure playground, small skate park and boules pitch invites you to relax.
