Walk from the hiker's car park in Gasse (if you're lucky you'll get a spot) to the town of Tegernsee. The path led mainly through the forest, with beautiful viewpoints of Lake Tegernsee. The place itself then disappointed because it was totally overcrowded. So unfortunately nothing came of drinking coffee by the lake, but we found a quiet little café/restaurant …
