July 6, 2025,Rast am Jägersee – Jägersee Runde von Eppingen
A very beautiful, varied forest hike. Ideal for elementary school children. Great features: lake, barefoot path, tree swing, hammock, boardwalk.

On the way back, the trail becomes very overgrown (blackberries, nettles) for 300 meters.

The variety of trees and shrubs is also impressive!

The Eppinger Forest Feeling Path is an entertaining path for young and old. Beginning at the romantic Jägersee, the path leads through shady deciduous forests past 13 sensory stations. Here you are invited to feel, smell, hear and see the forest. Near the end, the path leads over a long wooden footbridge, where you can train your balance.

Today I finally walked the Eppingen forest path.
At one point I wondered if this was really the right path.
Personally, I think the signage could be a bit better.
Not all paths are suitable for strollers.

Today it rained all day long. In the afternoon I was finally fed up enough with myself and my mood and left for a moment.
Yesterday I saw a sign "Jägersee" while driving past and a short research revealed: there is a 3 km long forest feel-good path.
That should be doable between two showers.
