The most mosquitoes I ever had in a hike were keeping me moving without a calm break. Perhaps it’s a seasonal issue - but definitely bring a mosquito spray with you…
The town Buckow though is really charming and worth a visit.

In the Stobbertal, at the Tornow lakes, on the Dachsberg, on the Poetensteig and even on the Sophienfließ - there was no one to be found anywhere.
Except me.
Fantastic!
Behind the Schloßberg there was a lot going on though - people were sledding like crazy.

It was worth driving east, because there was a wafer-thin layer of snow covering the fields and trees, which made for a nice contrast in the cloudy weather.
