From Hengersberg, today's mountain bike tour took me along the old Hengersberg-Eging-Kalteneck railway line to Eging am See. Gently ascending and with magnificent views, the route leads along the former railway line into the Sonnenwald region with the Brotjacklriegel and further through the Dreiburgenland region into the Ilztal valley in the Bavarian Forest.
