Königseggsee – Hoßkirch Outdoor Swimming Area

The Königseggsee is a mesotrophic natural lake, which is relatively rare for Upper Swabia, because most of the waters here originate from the moorland. The lake occupies approximately 180,000 square meters. The Königseggsee receives its water via two above-ground inlets and several water sources on the ground. The water flows off again via Wiesengraben.

The lake is also the Hoßkirch outdoor pool. Use of the lake per se is free, but you pay a little entrance fee for the use of the well-tended sunbathing lawns. There is also a DLRG team that is on hand in an emergency. There are also changing rooms, toilets and parking spaces in front of the entrance. The Kisok in the outdoor pool takes care of your physical well-being. There is a diving platform and a raft in the water.
