I can't really recommend this hike 😳. The way there was consistently on asphalt, the way back on paths that were totally broken by large forest machines and were muddy. Almost nothing to see from the lake, you weren't allowed to walk over the bridges, so along the road ... Better not

After a long time and a lot of illness, I once again dared to go on a longer tour and am happy that I managed it. The track is anything but good (eg I didn't go swimming...), but what can you do. I had fun, that's what counts 😃

Today we wanted to see what the Lichtenberg Dam was like. So we went out after lunch and walked around the dam.

That was a good idea now that we've both slowly recovered from our colds 🤧🤕 🙏
The storm from Wednesday to Thursday also did a lot of damage here.

So the hiking involved climbing 😊

Showing Translation

Nice loop around the Lichtenberg dam. However, the path is relatively unexciting and at the end of the dam you have to cross a bridge on the S208 with no footpath. That's not ideal👀 . But to get some fresh air and enjoy the forest, the loop is worth it.

Showing Translation

Easy hike, only walking mostly on asphalt, there are only a few possibilities to catch a glimpse of the dam directly. Otherwise beautiful nature and tranquility.

Cozy Easter round🪻🐇 in warm but initially hazy weather around the Lichtenberg dam. There was asphalt under the soles at the beginning, slabs at the end and forest floor in between😉. The frogs 🐸 seemed to feel really comfortable on the paved path, as many of them were jumping around here (to the delight of the young people) - alone …

Showing Translation

There is a hiking car park above the dam. Everything is well signposted and you avoid the road. The climb to the castle hill was worth it.

Showing Translation

Unfortunately the dam was empty but otherwise a very beautiful area
