Gentle path over a bridge that follows the course of the Bildbach. Especially nice in the spring when the small stream has enough water.

A beautiful tour that can also be done on sunny days, as it goes along streams for a long time. The climbing routes are a real thrill, and you can also avoid the individual routes on wide paths. Beautiful, varied landscape, well-secured routes, great fun.

A dream loop!! Everything is there, from quiet, easy, meditative paths along the stream to tunnels and climbing routes... a fairytale waterfall and a feeling like Ronja the Robber's Daughter... climbing routes can be avoided, tunnels are not accessible, but the gorge is great to look at, like caves... the whole route is well worth it!

Today we went to the next dream loop to Mittelstrimmig (saar-hunsrueck-steig.de/traumschleifen/layensteig-strimmiger-berg). This time, with the support of @BumblebeEla🐝, we managed to see the sunrise 😎 The fog over the Moselle valley was just as impressive 🤩

The highlight of the tour is clearly the 3 small via ferratas, they are really fun! But before and after them you are also …

Sure-footedness, hiking boots and a reasonable level of fitness are required, nothing for people with a pronounced fear of heights. Not recommended when wet. But a wonderful and varied hike!

Today I got off to a pretty early start 😊
I started at 6 a.m. in Mittelstrimmig at a pleasant 14°C.
The first 2.5 km of the tour took me along field paths with magnificent views. In Altstrimmig, I entered the forest, which makes up the largest part of this beautiful dream loop. Along gentle streams and beautiful paths, accompanied …

Today Steffi drove us to the beautiful Hunsrück again.
A wonderful dream loop. First chilled out on paths, paths and along the babbling brook.
On the last 5 km it got more demanding and exhausting.
Several via ferrata passages had to be mastered.
Care had to be taken on the slate and ladders after the rain.
It was great and …

This fantastic tour has been on my wish list for ages, but with a total travel time of 3.5 hours, it's at the very edge of my hiking area. That's what held me back for so long.
The chosen starting point at Pulgersmühle is ideal, as it starts off as an uphill climb along the via ferratas and ends with …

Nice varied tour with 3 small via ferratas, which can also be bypassed.
I would recommend the starting point at the Pulgersmühle (northernmost point of the tour) in order not to have the most strenuous part of the tour in the last third.
