According to the oldest documents, Hornberg Castle was a count's castle and later a knight's castle. It is located on a steep, 228.6-meter-high spur of rock above the Neckar valley, above the village of Neckarzimmern, between Bad Wimpfen and Mosbach.

Section of the "Burgenstraße" cycle path between Neckarzimmern and Neckarelz. Scenic to drive. Asphalt is good, rolls :-)

Elz River Confluence

Highlight • River

This is where the Elztal cycle path begins or ends. The renaturation of the estuary and the nearby banks of the Neckar has created a retreat for flora and fauna. Stand still and observe a little.

... still a little bit on the Neckartal cycle path which we missed from our 2020 tour 🚴

Stop off at the Gasthof "zum Ritter" in Hassmersheim! Small but fine Vesper menu, beautiful beer garden and very friendly owners. Really recommendable!!!

With wonderful weather, it was only a short round, but all the more fun and lots to talk about - after all, we haven't seen each other yet this year 👍😀👍

Today was a short tour, but nice. I didn't want to cycle alone today, asked @Marco radelt 🚲. He said yes, and on the short ride with the bio bike the idea came up to have a coffee, so I went to Rewe in Hassmersheim. It was nice. Thank you @Marco radelt 🚲.

Finally we were able to go on a tour together again! In the best weather we went to Haßmersheim for a cup of coffee ☕️🍰. It is already light for much longer and gradually we can make better use of the day again 👍😀👍

Well, the days are getting shorter – you can really feel it now 😫. I drove home with my lights on for the first time, because it's already pretty dark by 5 pm (and it's only going to get worse 🤣).

Still, getting out and about, and taking rides in the dark aren't bad either 👍😀👍

According to the weather forecast, it "could" rain from 11 a.m. (it hasn't rained for a long time 🤮). So I quickly took at least a short ride along the Neckar. Today I only rode on cycle paths - apart from a very short stretch near Neckarzimmern. Well, what about the weather? At the end I drove towards thick, black …

The "Why am I riding my e-bike if I'm just going to ride without assistance anyway" tour 🤔🥴😀.

Today I just wanted to try out how the new bike behaves in "off" mode. Aside from the extra weight, there's no significant difference. With the gearing, even moderate inclines are manageable. The only odd thing is that I still used 3% …

A part of the recording is missing. While taking pictures, I suspect it got off on the way home on the way home. The values are from the bike computer. The route bike path B37 Diedesheim Binau -iedlung I drove 2 to make the 30km full.
