Left at the castle Mochental it goes steadily up the wooded Bachtal. You actually follow a stream for about 1.5 km and pass small ponds, lakes and fountains.

A particularly beautiful section of the Danube Cycle Path. Well developed, straight and flat you can do kilometers here or let it roll relaxed.

May 14, 2024,Obermarchtal - Ulm - Tag 6
... after breakfast in the monastery garden, I visit the refectory (dining room) - this is where the monks ate.
... in beautiful weather - with a good headwind, which is perhaps why the sky is cloudless - I cycle along good paths along the Danube to Ulm.

Nice tour on the Danube cycle path. There was a bit too much farmland for my taste, but it was a good ride. Got a bit of rain around midday, but just managed to find shelter. Today there were also long stretches along the Danube. Great.

The weather today was dry, cold and very windy. The wind was once again a negative tailwind, which blew us into Ulm main station. From there we took the train to Lindau

From Ulm on the Danube Cycle Path in a southerly direction. Then from Ehingen on the mountain beer tour via Berg 🍺😃 to Munderkingen, Untermarchtal into the Lautertal to Anhausen. Survived day 1 dry 👍😉
