Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Very flat and wide bike path. However, not suitable for road bikes, as the surface is made of very fine gravel. The Lauter River flows by next door. All in all, very beautiful! 😊

I was able to test the Fischer 1861.1 from a friend and chose a great "Pfälzer Land route" for it. I started going east along the Palatinate Land cycle path and later returned via the Barbarossa cycle path. Very idyllic except for a few sections along country roads.

Stopover at Mehlinger Heide, Shaolin Temple Europe, Kaiserslautern Japanese Garden and then garden show. Japanese garden was great with a guide.
Unfortunately, I didn't like the garden show at all. More for children.

We finally got back on our bikes ... Close to the town, but you keep discovering new paths. The "stolen" sunflowers 🌻 now beautify our dining table
