Here you have a beautiful view of the Lech. The flows at this point directly on the way and shimmers in great turquoise. In the background the mountains rise. A great sight.

September 13, 2024,Bodensee-Königssee Radweg 3. Etappe ABBRUCH
After about 30 km of 70 km the stage was abandoned due to constant rain and only 5 degrees. Continue by bus to Kochel am See. Definitely needs to be done sometime.

We rode the last leg in rain gear, but didn't let it dampen our spirits. The landscape passed us by like a picture book, accompanied by the sound of cowbells.

We quickly reached the end of the Romantic Road at the gate to the Franciscan Church of St. Stephen in Füssen.

Day 6: Wildsteig - Füssen

Because of the bad weather forecast, we decided to do a short stage yesterday.

Fortunately, we were lucky: although we drove almost the entire time on (very) wet roads and paths, we didn't get any rain on the three-hour drive through the beautiful countryside - apart from a few drops just before Füssen!

From the road you can see the castles of Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein (small detour if you want to admire them up close)

Actually 68 km, because the start was also the finish. We actually wanted to hike up the Tegelberg. 🥾
But because of the good weather it was soooo crowded that we turned around and cycled instead. 🚴‍♂️🙏 As a reward we had 🍺 at the Brauhaus Schwangau..☺️
