Since autumn 2020, the forest gallery has been housed in the old concert shell in the city of Annweiler.

Built in 1933 as part of the renewal of the adjacent park in the town of Annweiler am Trifels, the shell-shaped building remained unused for a long time.

In 2018, the historic walls were restored by the Palatinate Forest Association and Zukunft Annweiler e.V. with the help of many volunteer members.
