Today, in almost summery 17 degrees, we did the Kutzenstein legend trail in Kappelrodeck. Although the route is mostly on asphalt, that didn't bother us, as you hike almost entirely through vineyards, with beautiful views of the Rhine Valley and the Hornisgrinde.
