The beautiful market square of Burgkunstadt is located in the upper town. On the north-eastern corner of the market square is the Catholic parish church of St. Heinrich and Kunigunde, which is well worth seeing. There are also many beautiful old houses around the market square, including many half-timbered houses. On the market square there is a monument to Saint Nepomuk, who was "active" here as a guardian for the water supply. September 24, 2023,Von Altenkunstadt nach Kronach➡️⬅️

Our tour today went from Altenkunstadt towards Redwitz an der Rodach to Kronach. When we set off it was still very fresh and foggy. But the sun came out later 🌞 and so it was a wonderful bike ride along the Rodach, mostly on bike paths. Kronach was also worth seeing, especially the Rosenberg Fortress.🕍
