I recommend not doing the part through the town of Steisslingen, but just walking along the lake. The tour is mostly on asphalt, so it is wheelchair accessible with a few adjustments.

The hike was okay for logging the miles, but otherwise pretty boring. Too much asphalt and too little to see.
