Brothers' Rock, Rodalben

Highlight • Natural Monument

The pair of rocks can be seen from afar from many vantage points around Rodalben. There is also a rest bench on site. In the evening they are illuminated and you can see bats fluttering about in the glow of the light.

Large rock with a cave, in which there is also a well. There is plenty to discover, not just for children. There are many benches and tables here, and you can have a wonderful rest.👍

Waldfriedhofs Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

On the varied trail, which is just over a kilometer long, you can expect flowing forest passages and interesting boulders to cross. Good bike handling is therefore an advantage.

Highlight • Natural Monument

A great way to cool down after a long, hot day on tour. The water is pleasantly cold.

Ruins of Ruppertstein Castle. There is almost nothing left to see of the castle itself, but both the stairs to the castle and the spectacular panoramic views are worth the climb.

October 27, 2024,MTB Tour 27-10-2024 (zum Ruppertsfelsen)
Our destination was the Ruppertsfelsen in glorious autumn weather. Since a lot of leaves have fallen, the trails should be used with caution. Because of the amount of leaves, it is no longer easy to see what is under the leaves. Whether there are stones, roots or anything else underneath.

Today with Dirk (visiting from HH) and Günther to Lemberg Castle and Ruppertsstein/Ruppertsfelsen. First through the Felsentor - near Beckenhof, past the Starkenbrunnen (both excursion restaurants in the forest). Driven beautiful trails and enjoyed great views.

Today at the Biebermühler asphalt plant along the B270 up towards PS, we cleared the path from a tree almost at the top. Normally a short trail leads to the first houses on Husterhöhe, but as there are "firecrackers" everywhere, the path was blocked by a large tree that was cut down with a chainsaw. Why is it lying across …

After I was so flat on the couch on Friday (stomach/intestinal virus) and nothing worked anymore, I was glad that everything was okay again today. I thought I'd ride along with Jürgen and Andreas, if it doesn't work anymore I'll turn around or with "E" you can still give it a little bit from time to time, but it went …
