Highlight • Historical Site

It's a shame that such a contemporary history can no longer be repaired.

Dike Near Guderhandviertel

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

A beautiful section of the dike with an unpaved path. Especially in the second half, the curved dike with its grassy vegetation looks like it is from another world.

Hogendiek Bridge

Highlight • Bridge

The bridge looks a bit Dutch and is therefore a nice splash of color in northern German climes.

November 14, 2024,69/24 Entlang der Lühe von Horneburg an die Elbe
This afternoon I went on a short hike through parts of the 1st and 2nd mile of the Altes Land.

From Horneburg I walked - long stretches on the dikes - along the Lühe via Neuenkirchen, the dike-slope village of Guderhandviertel, Mittelnkirchen and Steinkirchen to the Lühe pier on the Elbe near Grünendeich.

Here you'll find some of the most beautiful farmhouses in the region, especially in the …

There were many half-timbered houses to see on the tour - I was able to see even more e-bikes (as half-timbered) 😂- is there an intersection here 🤔? E - biker / half-timbered house owners? No - I didn't start an unauthorized survey anyway, which only had counter-questions: Who are you? and what do you want ends ?😂😂😂😂😂 instead I …
