Brother and sister tour 😃. On the way today on the Haunetaler Burgpfad.... nice path, but it only lived up to its name in the 2nd half of the path, there it was a nice path 👍. Nonetheless, it was a great journey! On the way we picked goutweed for dinner today.

🏰 Oberstoppel Castle Trail – Circular Hike to Hauneck Castle Ruins and into the Ilme Valley

The hike begins at the Oberstoppel village hall. Right from the start, you'll have a view of the Hessian Kegelspiel, a striking series of extinct volcanoes. Passing Villa Phantasia, the trail leads up to the 524-meter-high Stoppelsberg hill, where the Hauneck Castle ruins stand.
