In summer, pay attention to the many tourists who also walk along the Tana dell'Ermellino - Andalo route. Before and after smoother.

Andalo is a lively tourist resort where you can practice summer and winter sports. Together with Molveno and Fai della Paganella, Andalo is part of the Dolomiti Paganella Bike, one of the most complete and equipped bike resorts in Europe. This is the link to the resort website, where you can find information on the routes, the difficulty levels and the ski lift tickets: dolomitipaganellabike.com/it.

Cavedago Stone Arch Bridge

Highlight • Bridge

Cavedago is located at 860 meters above sea level, the Municipality has just over 500 people who live in different and characteristic farms spread over a very large area. In fact Cavedago is a collective name to indicate several farms: Canton, Doss, Maset, Sass, one of the oldest that was born on the ancient road that goes from Castel Rovina to Andalo, Mattè. The latter is the most central farm where the church of San Lorenzo was built in 1849.
The Pozza farm owes its name to the fact that it was there that the inhabitants went to get their supplies of drinking water from a well that is still in operation today!
While the farms Tomas, Zeni, Viola, took the name of the person by whom they were founded or by important people who lived there.
I arrived there from Trento, on my way to Lake Molveno, after 35 km and a climb that has an altitude difference of about 600 meters in the last eight kilometers!
What a view! Cavedago overlooks the valley from above and widens its gaze to the Brenta Dolomites, a Unesco World Heritage Site.
Challenging climb and wonderful views, even the organizers of the Giro d’Italia realized this, passing through here in 2016.
