Roque Bridge

Highlight • Historical Site

The beautiful bridge is located at the confluence of the Siena and Soulles rivers. During the Second World War there were several attempts to destroy it. They wanted to prevent the Germans from retreating.
It was bombed unsuccessfully for the first time on April 23, 1944, then regularly by four Royal Air Force bombers until 14/15. June, when three of the eleven arches collapsed.

Regnéville-sur-Mer

Highlight • Settlement

This little beach harbor at the mouth of the Sienne, which used to be one of the most prosperous on the entire coast, fell into disrepair when the harbor silted up. Now the 12th-century castle ruins are the setting for exhibitions in summer.
