Lanjaron Public Drinking Fountain

Highlight • Structure

The city center is a one-way street heading east. There are at least two water sources in the city, each at the entrance to the town, with spring water that is completely free of chlorine.

Behind the fountain in the street, a small but very helpful bicycle mechanic works in a basement workshop. In case anyone needs help😎

This is undoubtedly one of the best and most popular viewpoints to observe Lanjarón in the distance.

Órgiva

Highlight • Settlement

Orgiba, or Orgiva in English is the capital of the region and is a small town where you meet people living in alternative ways. On my last visit, I stayed at the campsite south of town. They are not that many and deserve to be pointed out. Orgiva is a good base camp to rest. The city center presents a monumental statue of the head of the hero of Cervantés: Don Quixote.

April 7, 2025,Lanjarón - Ruta del Vino⛰️☀️😎
For me, the Ruta del Vino is the most beautiful route around Lanjaron. From a scenic and athletic perspective. A challenging route is rewarded with breathtaking panoramas, with the snow-capped Sierra Nevada still over 2 meters of snow in the background.
