Ermita de Pineta

Located in a clearing in a wooded area.
Rectangular hermitage built of pebbles. The door is stormed with a spout arch. The year 1800 is engraved on the lintel, a cross on the left post and a bird with bread in its beak on the right. The interior is covered with a half barrel vault with different heights for the head and nave.
The legend tells that a shepherd was able to fend off the thieves successfully. In gratitude he built this chapel to the Virgin Mary. At least that's what it says on a small information board. Every year in September, a festival is celebrated here and a religious dance - the Chinchecle de Bielsa - is performed to the sound of Aragonese bagpipes.
