Ooltgensplaat Marina is a popular port with passers-by because of its friendly atmosphere and central location in the South Holland waters and Zeeland delta waters. The marina is located on the Volkerak, a mile south of the Volkerak locks. Within half a day you can reach the North Sea locks at Stellendam, the Grevelingen, the Oosterschelde and cities such as Dordrecht. The building has survived many disasters over the centuries, including several floods.
