For me, the Grossisla promontory at Versam train station is one of the most beautiful places. Perfect for visiting the young Rhine, collecting stones, picnicking, watching the canoeists, enjoying the coolness in high summer ...

Tough climb from Turrahus, cool descent to Vals.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend it the other way around.

Started very early in the morning. As always when Hanspeter plans a great tour. Once again it was amazing. A bit of everything. 😉

Wonderful round trip over the Tomül Pass. From Turrahuus a tough climb to the pass. Then a wonderful descent to Vals. From there, it's a fast ride to Ilanz 😜
Recording started a little late, but what the heck.
Perfect bike day in perfect conditions. 👌👍

I wanted to do this bike tour last week, but it was too hot for me, so today was just the right day 😅
I'd done the Aclatobel years ago (2017).
I'd also done the Tomül Pass in July 2023, and I really liked it, so I'm going to do it again.
I had a bite to eat at the …

I had planned this tour in 2008 with an FRB colleague as a 2-day tour. Unfortunately I couldn't go along, but I really wanted to do it. A tour report from @Tobias Guntli drew my attention to it again this year. In the meantime I've been riding E, and I really enjoyed it. Up to the Turrahaus it's always a …

From Thusis it goes on asphalt and gravel roads to Glaspass. Rideable down towards Safien Platz at the beginning and then it becomes more and more difficult for me and I have to push 😁
Then back on asphalt up to Thalkirch and there I treat myself to a plate full of Spaghetti Bolognese. Well strengthened and rested, I make …

Great ride with Ledi. After an early wake-up call, we set off from Thusis before 8 a.m. in pleasant temperatures, with the goal of reaching the Glaspass. In Ober Tschapina, we stopped for a quick coffee at Ledi's brother-in-law's. We quickly moved on to tackle the tricky descent from the Glaspass. Some of the lower sections were unrideable for me.
