Aare gorge imposing and tourist. At noon at 38 degrees decision to continue the hike. Thanks to Paul strong little man. The fight scenes of Sherlock Holmes and Prof. Moriarty at the Reichenbach Falls can hardly be topped in terms of drama.

Parking at the West Gorge is free. The entrance fee is very reasonable at 12 francs. The walk now continues 1.5 km through the gorge, through the Haslital Valley and up to the Reichenbach Falls, where Sherlock Holmes and his nemesis met their end. The small historic train takes you back down to the valley. A very nice loop.
