Vintgar Gorge

Highlight (Segment) • Gorge

Either early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
The canyon itself is beautiful, but during the usual "rush hour" tourists are busily bushland and the visit is not fun anymore ...

Here it is super pleasant, because there are much fewer people to be found than in the Vintgar gorge and also has a fabulous view!

From our guesthouse over beautiful rough paths to the Vintgar Gorge.
Then back around Lake Bled, with various culinary stops.

A bit difficult tour for unprepared hikers. Many good spots. Enough places with fresh drinkable water

Hiked from the accommodation to the Vintgar Gorge. Walked through the gorge and then back across Lake Bled. Entry to the gorge costs €10, but it's worth it, especially if you get to a section where there isn't much going on in the gorge.
