Ganalm

Highlight • Mountain Hut

Unfortunately, the Ganalm has been uncultivated for a long time. But there's always something to drink. (Leit'l are so good and always throw in a few € when you take a drink) Thanks to those who keep the Ganalm upright!!

Today, in midsummer weather, I went with my neighbor to the three alpine pastures above Grace Forest. And back home via Schwaz and Hochgallzein.

Today we drove to the three alpine pastures from midday in pleasant autumn weather. There are still traces of snow on the roadside and in the meadows in the mountains, but the paths are free of snow and easy to drive on.

Carpe Diem! What a dream day. Started at 9:00, ideal! 🌞🚴👍

The Kaspressknödel alone are always worth the ascent to the Walderalm! 😋🚴🌞👍

Since the route from Ganalm is mostly in the shade all day, there was still a lot of snow on the way. I had to push the last 150 meters 😓🏔️. Better to stay on the sunny side of the route now 😜🧐.

Today we visited the three alpine pastures. From our home, we drove to Vomperbach, where the group continued over the Ummelberg, the Gahn-Alm, and the Walder-Alm to the Hinterhorn-Alm, where we stopped for a bite to eat. Then we took the toll road down to Gnadenwald, and from there to Weerberg, where we ended the day.
