The plan for today was to do a long run in the Bavarian Forest 🌳 or the Chiemgau 🏞️.

Since the weather forecast for both regions was for rain and thunderstorms, I didn't want to risk a "wet" hike.

So I replanned and chose an area with a bit more weather-resistant weather.

Today we went along the Ilz dam. The path is quite varied from small forest paths to dirt roads and also a short stretch on a paved road.

Some wood was felled here, partly to get the hiking trail free again. Unfortunately, the heavy equipment also caused a lot of furrows, which of course filled up with water and mud.
