I would do this tour next time with the MTB. Rough climb from Bürserberg to Alpe Rona OK (asphalt), then gravel path (or rather stone path, in places a lot of gravel with quite large rocks), very bumpy and difficult to ride with a gravel bike up to the mountain station.
