"If the ascent is too difficult for you, you float - like around 150,000 people annually - with the cable car with a fantastic view up to 1,445 meters above sea level.
Our cable car was rebuilt in 1995 and replaced the old cable car, which had been in operation for 44 years. Since the new building, the valley station of the Schöckl cable car has a partially covered parking deck with a parking capacity of approx. 320 parking spaces (including 3 bus and 4 disabled parking spaces).
The cable car is open all year round (except during the revision period in spring and autumn).
The Schöckl cable car is 2087 m long. The travel time from the valley station (780 m above sea level) to the top station (1436 m above sea level) is approx. 7 minutes. The difference in height is 656 m.
The train transports approx. 800 to 1000 guests / hour in comfortable 6-seater panoramic gondolas.
Two gondolas are available for people with reduced mobility and you can even transport your bike and paraglider to the Schöckl with the cable car. "
