We climb to the suggestive Croce di Ferro at 1500 meters above sea level to leave our pebbles brought from home. Then, through moors and expanses of flowering broom, we descend towards the Bierzo. From the mountains to the vineyards, passing through medieval villages and fairytale castles.

From a rustic hotel in Rabanal de Camino we went up to the Cruz de Ferro. I'm not following the pilgrimage route but the low-traffic country road. I met a lot of nice people there.
