If you like it a bit more stylish and sophisticated, run along the promenade in Ahlbeck and marvel at the great Wilhelminian style villas of the former imperial baths.

October 17, 2024,Strandpromenade Ahlbeck – Fähre Usedom-Wolin Runde von Seebad Ahlbeck
Hello, a really fantastic tour! But it's important to know...
Currently there is no cycle path on this route on the way back from Wollin to Swinoujscie due to a really big construction site, so you have to cycle for about 9 kilometers directly (only separated by a marking) next to/on a highway. About 2 kilometers of that are directly …

A very nice tour, but the way back from Swinoujscie to Międzyzdroje on the normal road is a disaster because of the current major construction site. Take the way back like the way there, through the forest, with the Baltic Sea always visible.
This is my personal recommendation at the moment.

The differences couldn't be greater. The outward journey is on gravel and sand through the forest (mountain bike recommended), then the return journey is a fast one on a road parallel to the highway.
The ferry ride is a highlight.

Today we took the ferry to Poland and drove towards Mistroy! The ferry is even free...there's no bridge over it! The first stretch of the road was okay...but then through the forest...the nature there is very beautiful...but the road is quite bumpy and quite long! There were a few sandy sections too! We were able to ride along the beach …

This tour is rather difficult at the moment. The R10 cycle path runs through the forest, which is muddy and slippery in November. I wouldn't exactly recommend it and we left the path. The alternative was ultimately to take the European route E65. This road is currently being expanded and was quite dangerous for our taste. We were happy when …

Today's cross-border tour starts in Heringsdorf on Usedom. In glorious sunshine, we head up the Baltic Sea promenade to the Heringsdorf pier. We quickly snap two pictures and then head east again. Our destination for today is Poland. After a few kilometers, we reach Ahlbeck. With its many villas and hotels, it's a lovely place for a day trip, just …

Well, that's it. Today I completed the very last stage of the Baltic Sea tour. The Komoot app describes the few kilometers from Heringsdorf to Mistroy in Poland, where I started on May 18, 2019, as "difficult." And it ended the way it had started: deep sand as the ground, gravel, bumpy concrete slabs, steep inclines, but then, as a …

Highly recommended bike tour. The long way along the coast and through the beautiful forest is so beautiful !!! Ferry free of charge and easily possible by bike without long waiting times. The border between Poland and Germany is nice to look at and ☕a must in one of the numerous cafes on the promenade😊
