Peschiera del Garda Port

Highlight • Settlement

Peschiera del Garda is a lively and always on the move town. There are some beaches for swimming and sunbathing; or you can enjoy a walk in the narrow alleys of the center or along the port. The old city is surrounded by canals and you can tour on small boats to better discover the historic city walls. Peschiera del Garda is the only town on Lake Garda where there is a train station. The cycle path along the Mincio towards Mantua starts from here.

Overlooking the waters of Garda, Peschiera has a history of ancient peoples and illustrious dominations. And this is clear from the entrance to the city: fortresses, walls, defensive canals. A town that invites discovery, offering rest on its beaches and adventures along the streets that embrace its history.

July 5, 2025,Tag 7 Spaziergang in klein Venedig (Peschiera del Garda)
On the penultimate day, we drove 🚗 to Peschiera del Garda, also known as Little Venice. During our walk, we were caught in a thunderstorm ⛈️, which lowered the temperature a bit, but it didn't last long, and the temperature rose back above 30 degrees.
