The Porcieu-Amblagnieu stage to Chanaz was again one of the nicer ones. Wonderful landscape, beautiful bike lanes and many picnic spots.

From Porcieu-Amblagnieu to Quirieu, the VR17 still follows the Rhone, but then turns off. It only follows the river again from Groslee. One of the reasons is that there are no continuous paths along the shore.
