The Circus, Bath

Highlight • Historical Site

The Royal Crescent is a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in a sweeping crescent in the city of Bath, England. Designed by the architect John Wood, the Younger and built between 1767 and 1774, it is among the greatest examples of Georgian architecture to be found in the United Kingdom and is a Grade I listed building. Although some changes have been made to the various interiors over the years, the Georgian stone façade remains much as it was when it was first built.

Marshfield Village

Highlight • Rest Area

Large village/small town on the Wiltshire/South Gloucestershire border. The village shop, Central Stores, is very well stocked and reasonably priced with lots of excellent lunch/snack options including coffee, tea, pies, sausage rolls. They also have an excellent selection of Marshfield Ice Cream (including flavours for dogs). One shelf is dedicated to vegan goods! The village also has a lovely tea room called Sweet Apples. They do brilliant coffees, teas and hot chocolates along with traditional lunches/breakfasts or cream teas.
