Kincardine Bridge

Highlight • Viewpoint

Kincardine Bridge is in the “Kingdom of Fife”, Central East Scotland. NCN76 meanders through the township among amazing old Mill houses...amazing architecture. You end up at the bridge. The path is not wide, but good enough to enjoy ride across the bridge with great views. If another cyclist comes the opposite way, it may be courteous to pull over and let them through. There are views to the east to Grangemouth and to the west to the amazing Ochils (Hillfoots) and Stirling. Depending on the time of year, you will see the snow capped hills. (If they were called mountains, everyone would be talking about them and visit). Well worth a visit. While you are there, it is worth crossing the Clackmannanshire Bridge...it is right next to Kincardine Bridge. Enjoy!

Culross Palace and the Historic Village

Highlight • Historical Site

Relive the domestic life of the 16th and 17th centuries amid the old buildings and cobbled streets of the fascinating Royal Burgh of Culross.
Explore the beautiful refurbished palace with its decorative painted ceilings and furnishings of the period. Behind the palace is the restored 17th century garden, complete with herbs, vegetables and fruit trees.

The Town House, once the legal and commercial centre of Culross, is also open to visitors as is the Study, where Bishop Leighton of Dunblane reputedly composed his sermons.
