Highlight • Viewpoint

The Quantock Hills is an Area of Outstanding natural Beauty (AONB) in northern Somerset. Easily accessible by bike from the mainline train station of Bridgewater or from the M5.
The hills form a long ridgeline heading inland from Williton and the Bristol Channel to Taunton inland. There are great mountain biking and gravel bike options as well as some great views and steep hills for road bikes.

Black Hill is a mountain summit in the Ilfracombe to the Quantocks and Sidmouth region in the county of Somerset, England. Black Hill is 358 metres high with a prominence of 40 metres. Frog Wood is another of the sublime little singletrack trails that the Quantocks is renowned for. Fast and open before it runs into the woods, it maintains its speed, but gives you the odd rooty obstacle to negotiate before it emerges at the top of Holford Combe.
