Sophie's Spring

If you follow the path along the pond a short distance into the wildlife park, you'll reach Sophie's Spring. This spring is just one of several around the Haderslev Dam, most of which are located on the other side of the dam. Interestingly, on the other side of the pond, you can see several small fountains in the front gardens of the villa on Ribe Landevej. These are artesian springs, springs so powerful that they even erupt from the ground.
