The Erdener via ferrata is divided into three levels of difficulty. Hikers can choose whether they want to hike the green (2.9 km), yellow (3.8 km) or red (4.3 km) route. The respective colors are signposted throughout. On all paths, magnificent views of the Moselle Valley, a colorful variety of flora and fauna as well as small climbing units on the more challenging routes await.

You climb rocky outcrops and vineyard terraces using old vineyard paths and ladders. As part of the "Living Moselle Vineyards Initiative," this area has been awarded the title of "beacon of biodiversity."

Beautiful hike through Ürzig and the vineyards. First from the village to the "Ürziger Würzgarten", parts of the (W)ürziger Bergpfad, Moselsteig and Erdinger Treppchen climbing trail.

This tour demonstrates what a backbreaking job winemaking is here. Very(!) surefootedness is required, and in dry weather, the tour can also be done with (disciplined) children (8 years and older).
