Claudi wanted to spend her birthday 🎁 in nature today. So after your appointment with the hairdresser, due to time constraints, we set off for a little round. Today the smallest Spessart trail offered itself. 🥾🎒
Bad Soden was on the agenda.

Nice tour, we didn't expect it at all.

Last year, my colleague from Gelnhausen gave me a little book called “Hiking in the Spessart” 😃. Is he trying to lure me away from the Rhön? 🤔 OK, then I’ll try new paths again… the time is right… 😉
Great book, once you’ve chosen a tour (divided into Spessart tracks, Spessart trails and Spessart bends), you just need to …

Today we did the shortest of the Spessart tracks again with our nephew Nicolai, because there is so much to learn about life in the time of the knights on this tour and everything is very lovingly designed 👍🏻😉

It was great fun for him and us 🤩

A very nice hike. Very nice to go for and with children. There are always boards along the route that tell very informative stories about the life of a knight!

Today we hiked with our good friends Burkhard and Petra.

We've been keen to do the Spessart trail in our neighboring town of Bad Soden for a long time.

It was a lovely walk with great views of the Huttengrund and the Kinzig valley.

Here are the directions for this really worthwhile Spessart trail:

The paths were all easy to walk. No particularly difficult spots. An entertaining tour for children thanks to various information boards ✌🏻 There are several options for rest. One of them is covered.
