My 25th tour this year🤭 set off from Bertingen via Rogätz and took the ferry ⛴️ across! We headed downstream along the Elbe Cycle Path to the waterway junction! Unfortunately, due to a diversion, we missed the old lock! It was a very pleasant tour!

Perhaps the Elbe Cycle Path could be added to my cycling touring list!

A nice tour in itself.
I recommend the Italian restaurant "la porta" in the holiday village of Bertingen.

The route from Rogätz (after crossing the Elbe by ferry) towards Niegripp was quite strenuous due to the strong westerly wind on the dike 😉.
It is worth taking a longer stop at the waterway junction.
