Drava bicycle path between Innichen and Sillian

Highlight • Cycleway

The Drauradweg runs 510 kilometers along the Drava River from Toblach in Italy to the Croatian-Slovenian border. This section is thus at the very beginning of the bike path and leads almost just from San Candido to Sillian (or back). Perfect for a small warm-up program and then warming up to master the steep climbs of the Dolomites.

Lake Dobbiaco

Highlight • Lake

In my opinion, the lake is one of the most beautiful in the Dolomites. However, bathing is only for the toughest. The campsite restaurant has a delicious Calzone pizza!

Dobbiaco–Cortina Cycle Path

Highlight • Cycleway

The Dobbiaco-Cortina cycle path winds along the old railway line through breathtaking Alpine landscapes. The route, slightly downhill from Dobbiaco to Cortina, is also suitable for less experienced cyclists and passes through coniferous forests, wooden bridges and tunnels dug into the rock. Along the way, you will come across panoramic points that offer suggestive views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks, including the majestic Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Along the route there are old railway stations transformed into rest stops and small refuges where you can refresh yourself.

This is the only place where you get a view of the famous Three Peaks from the Landro valley. When the weather is nice, plan a break here!

Lake Dürrensee

Highlight • Lake

Lake Landro is located at the end of the Val di Landro, in Alto Adige, about twenty kilometers from Cortina d'Ampezzo. From the cycle path that runs along the shore of the lake you can admire the steep rock faces of the Dolomites.

Falzarego Pass

Highlight • Mountain Pass

The Passo di Falzàrego is a 2,105 meter high mountain pass. It connects the Fodom and the lower Cordevole valley with Cortina d'Ampezzo in the Valle del Boite and Abbey in South Tyrol. The name Falza Rego means "false king" and refers to the king of the Fanes Empire, who according to legend was turned into stone because of a betrayal and can still be seen from the pass today.

Passo Valparola – Ju de Valparola

Highlight • Mountain Pass

A beautiful pass that takes you up to 2,192 meters. To the south is the Falzarego Pass, which is only a little lower and can be crossed from Cortina d'Ampezzo as well as from Caprile.

The road to San Cassiano leads north. A nice descent is guaranteed.

Furkel Pass (Passo Furcia)

Highlight • Mountain Pass

The pass road has it all, but is accompanied by the view of the one mega awesome! Little going on and above is the opportunity to stop. The descent to Olang is steep and technically demanding, as switchbacks follow a few times directly on steep tracks. The surface is ok, but has some potholes.
