We left Bretignolles-sur-Mer and headed towards Les Sables-d'Olonne, crossing the marshes.
The route continued to Jard-sur-Mer, then to La Tranche-sur-Mer, still following the Vélodysée cycle path.
The heat was intense today, making this stage particularly challenging.
