Kennmoor Road

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Really straight and quiet! This is what cycling in the USA must be like.

Nailsea Wall

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Beautiful flat and straight lane, surrounded by rivers and meadows, I've seen swans nesting from the road. Narrow but there are passing places for cars and it's usually quiet on the traffic front anyway.

View Over Bristol

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

The road was relatively quiet in the evening. Not sure how busy it gets in the day time

Belmont Hill

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

Good surface and therefore I prefer descending this hill and going up Wraxall hill. It has a couple of turns, but can be taken at speed. Would be good for doing loops Belmont to Wraxall

Failand

Highlight • Settlement

Okay, it's called Failand but I cannot unsee "Fail Land". Come here for the hill and to take pictures for instagram haha

Sheepway Road and Disused Railway, Gordano Valley

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

The Sheepway is the old main road & a quieter way than the busy Portbury Hundred (A369) to get from Portbury to Portishead or vice versa. Access from Portbury via the foot/cycle bridge at the bottom of Station Rd. Passes over the old disused railway line twice with nice views over the NE part of the Gordano Valley.
