As important examples of Schleswig-Holstein estate architecture, the three buildings were listed as historical monuments in September 1996.
The farm complex is still used by the Ahlmann family as an agricultural operation. In 1997, the "Alte Meierei" was rebuilt and now offers space for eight families.
