The Syrens of the Wells to Glastonbury Railway Path

Highlight (Segment) • Structure

Lovely stretch of the old railway line...unfortunately it doesn't yet join up with the stretch from Cheddar or Frome but one day you'll be able to ride this old line from Clevedon, through Cheddar, Wells, Shepton Mallet, Frome, Radstock, Bath and all the way to Bristol.
Also a cool (small) wood on the north side for a bit of larking about.

Wells Cathedral

Built from honey-coloured stone between 1176 and 1450, Wells Cathedral is an intricaticate example of Gothic architecture. It has been called "unquestionably one of the most beautiful" and "most poetic" English cathedrals, and its easy to see why.

You can visit the cathedral from 7am - 7pm. Three is also a cafe, shop, and possibility to go on a guided tour. You can find more information, here: wellscathedral.org.uk
