Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

It's just a stretch of road that never seems to get boring. It could be anywhere...

Southwell Chicane

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

An interesting section of road that floats beautifully into an s'bend at the bottom of two hills. One that leads to Stoven and one that leads to Sotterly. If its rained heavily for a while it tends to flood and mud runs off from the fields leaving sand and debris.

Swampy Woodland Road near Clay Common

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

The home planet of the Jedi Master Yoda. As you drop through the woods heading from Clay Common towards Barnby Green you'll notice the home of Yoda on your left. A very random area of swamp best viewed in the months where there's very little in the way of leaf cover. An added bonus is it's a very quiet stretch of road that avoids Wangford and tha A12 crossing.

Quiet lane into Reydon and Southwold

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

A truly "Quiet lane" that brings you in to Southwold via Reydon. It's safer and far more picturesque than the Wangford and Wrentham roads that carry an enormous amount of traffic all year.

Southwold Pier and Beach

Highlight • Beach

Southwold can rightly lay claim to being the quintessential English seaside resort town. It has all the necessary attractions, including a working lighthouse, beach huts, award-winning pier, busy harbour, cliff top cannon and a fabulous beach.

27.6 km

Beautiful, if slightly overrun, historic fishing port and now a chi-chi resort full of second homes. Still very appealing though, with lovely historic streets and buildings, not to mention the Adnams Brewery.
