Carn Galver Mine

Highlight • Monument

Situated right next to the road, Carn Calver Mine is an ideal accessible place to get up close to Cornwall's industrial past.

The mine was operational for only 20 years with only 150 tons of tin produced. The two ruins closest to the road are engine houses. The wall of the chimneyed building was destroyed to fill in the mine when it closed. The Count House, off to the north from the car park, is now used by Bosigran Climbing Club to store their equipment.

Zennor Backpackers Café

Highlight • Cafe

Very good coffee. Cakes good but small selection lovely place to sit and chill mid ride. Think they are only open during summer season

St. Senara's Church, Zennor

Highlight • Religious Site

A church has stood on this site since at least the 6th century, and is thought to have been founded by St. Senara. Senara has been modified over the centuries to become Zennor.

The present building dates from the 13th and 15th centuries.

Look out for the mermaid chair, thought to have been carved 400-600 years ago, in memory of a parish choir boy who fell in love and eloped with a mermaid.
