Caledonia Way: Kentallen to Glenachulish

This former railway line forms part of the Caledonia Way, a long distance cycling route linking Campbeltown with Inverness. This stretch runs next to Loch Linnhe offering wonderful views of the water and mountainous backdrop. Parts of the platform can still be seen.

This is a fantastic traffic-free section of NCN route 78 from Duror to Kentallen. It follows an old railway bed and provides wonderful views of Loch Linnhe to the west. Look out for the viewpoint near Kentallen which has a bench and information board.

It forms part of the Caledonia Way, a long distance cycling route between Campbeltown and Inverness.
